Our Bastet statues honor the ancient Egyptian goddess of home, protection, joy, and the feline spirit. Choose from two styles:
Classic (11⅝ in): a sleek, seated cat form capturing Bastet's grace and quiet strength.
With Panther: Bastet accompanied by a panther, honoring both her gentle and fierce sides.
Bastet was worshipped in ancient Egypt for thousands of years, with her great cult center at Bubastis in the Nile Delta. Early images show her with the head of a lioness, and over time she came to be depicted as a cat or a woman with a cat's head. Egyptians honored her as a protector of homes, women, children, and cats, and as a goddess of music, dance, and celebration.
Many practitioners keep Bastet near the entrance of the home, on a household altar, or alongside offerings for beloved animal companions. She can be incorporated into practices for home blessing, honoring pets, embracing joy, or connecting with Kemetic traditions.
A graceful presence for anyone who loves cats and the balance of softness and strength they carry.
